국내에서 남영순, 임종필 교수를 사사한 피아니스트 이선호는 예원학교를 졸업하고 한국예술종합학교 예술 영재로 입학한 후 도독하여 하노버 국립음대(Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover)의 세계적인 명교수 블라디미르 크라이네프(Vladimir Krainev) 문하에서 음악교육학(Musikerziehung), 디플롬(Künstlerische Ausbildung) , 피아노듀오 석사(Master of Music) 및 최고연주자과정(Konzertexamen)을 졸업하였다.
이탈리아 부조니 국제 피아노 콩쿠르 5위, 포르투갈 포르투 국제 피아노 콩쿠르 2위 및 최연소특별상, 미국 미주리 국제 피아노 콩쿠르 3위, 중국 셴젠 국제 피아노 협주곡 콩쿠르 6위, 독일 피아날레 국제 피아노 콩쿠르 2위 및 청중상, 미국 시카고 피아노듀오 국제 콩쿠르 4위, 불가리아 슈베르트 피아노듀오 국제 콩쿠르 1위 및 슈베르트 특별상, 제1회 한국피아노듀오협회 콩쿠르 대상을 수상하였다.

Pianist Sun Ho Lee studied in Korea with Professors Young Soon Nam and Jong Pil Lim. After graduating from Yewon School, he was admitted to Korea National University of Arts as a gifted young artist before moving to Germany. There, he studied under the world-renowned professor Vladimir Krainev at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, where he completed degrees in Music Education, Diploma in Artistic Training, Master of Music in Piano Duo, and the Konzertexamen, the highest-level performance degree.
Lee has received numerous awards at major international competitions, including 5th Prize at the Busoni International Piano Competition in Italy, 2nd Prize and the Youngest Special Prize at the Porto International Piano Competition in Portugal, 3rd Prize at the Missouri International Piano Competition in the United States, 6th Prize at the Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition in China, 2nd Prize and the Audience Prize at the PIANALE International Piano Competition in Germany, 4th Prize at the Chicago International Piano Duo Competition in the United States, 1st Prize and the Schubert Special Prize at the Schubert International Piano Duo Competition in Bulgaria, and the Grand Prize at the 1st Korea Piano Duo Association Competition.
He has been invited to perform at prominent festivals including the Busoni International Piano Festival and Alba Music Festival in Italy, Klevischer Klaviersommer, Kawai Haus in Krefeld, Mosel Musikfestival, and Bebersee Festival in Germany, the March Music Days Festival in Bulgaria, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the United Kingdom, the Gdansk Music Festival in Poland, and the Salzburger Festspiele in Austria. He has also given solo and chamber music concerts across Europe at venues such as Düsseldorf Steinway Haus, Gasteig München, Lister Turm Hannover, Megaron Concert Hall in Greece, Casa da Música in Portugal, Rousse Philharmonic Hall in Bulgaria, and the Great Hall of the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. As a concerto soloist, he has appeared with leading orchestras in Korea and abroad, including Orquestra Nacional do Porto, Jessay Symphony Orchestra, Bozen String Quartet, Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra, Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, Rousse Philharmonic Orchestra, Shenzhen String Quartet, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Junges Sinfonieorchester Hannover, Vladivostok Philharmonic Orchestra, W Philharmonic Orchestra, and Namyangju Symphony Orchestra. His performances have been broadcast on Bulgarian National Radio, NDR Kultur in Germany, Arte TV, and Arirang TV.
After receiving the 31st New Artist Award from Music Journal in 2020, Lee began his full-scale concert career in Korea. He has appeared in a wide range of performances, including a lecture concert hosted by the Seocho Cultural Foundation at Simsan Art Hall, the July Festival at the Daehangno Artist House, the Campus Concert at Seoul National University of Education, a concerto performance with W Philharmonic Orchestra at Lotte Concert Hall, the 14th regular concert of Geonwoohoe at Seoul Arts Center Recital Hall, and the 2024 Ilshin Prism Concert at Ilshin Hall. He has also given solo recitals at major venues such as Seoul Arts Center Recital Hall, Sejong Center Chamber Hall, Kumho Art Hall Yonsei, Ilshin Hall, TLI Art Center, Elim Art Center, MEG Art Hall, and the Fräum Instrument Museum.
Lee has served on the faculty of the Kawai Festival, Gimhae International Music Festival Piano Academy, Tool Music Summer Music Camp, Music Journal Winter Music School, Yeoncheon DMZ International Music Festival, AIPAF, Haeundae Music Festival, VMP Piano Master Class, KCAA International Music Festival, and masterclasses and camps of the International Piano Music Association. He currently serves as Artist-in-Residence of W Philharmonic Orchestra and is dedicated to educating the next generation as a Visiting Professor at Sookmyung Women’s University and lecturer at Seoul National University.
