피아니스트 이은정은 IBLA Grand Prix international Competition 2위 및 브람스 특별상 수상, 한국일보 콩쿨 1등을 비롯하여 브람스콩쿨, 춘추콩쿨, 틴에이저콩쿨, JM 콘서트 오디션 등 다수의 콩쿨에 입상하였고, 예원학교 졸업 시 구청장 상과 함께 졸업생 대표로 실기상을, 서울예고 졸업시에는 음악공로상을 수여하였으며, 서울대 재학 중 도독하여 베를린 국립음대(UDK)와 만하임 국립음대에서 수학하였다. 조숙현, 강운경, 서계숙, 이미주, Martin Hughes, Robert Benz 교수에게 사사하였고, 백혜선, 신수정, 변화경, 김정자, Georgy Sebok, Edward Auer, Veda Kaplinsky, Klaus Schilde, Boaz Scheron, Patrik O’byun, Wolfgang Manz, Theodor Parakivesco, Rainer Becker, Pascal Devoyon, Nelson Goerner, Vera Gornosteva, Vitaly Margulis 등 세계적인 대가들의 마스터클래스 및 캠프에서 가르침을 받았다.


서울예고 정기연주회에 선발되어 예술의전당 콘서트홀에서 협연하였고 Baden - Baden Philharmoniker와 협연, 음연 주최 ‘미래의 거장’ 초청 독주회, 성남아트센터 개관 기념 초청 독주회, 베를린, 하이델베르크, 만하임, 담슈타트, 루드비히스하펜, 파리, 오를레앙, 보스턴, 뉴욕, 베이징, 톈진, 청두, 쉔양, 타이유엔, 다통, 하얼빈, 광저우, 우시 및 양저우 등 세계 여러 도시에서 다수의 초청 독주회와 실내악 연주회를 가졌다.


톈진음악원과 쉔양음악원, 쓰촨음악원에 수 차례 초청되어 마스터클래스와 연주를, 중국 베이징 국제 음악Festival에 다년 간 초청되어 독주및 실내악 연주를 하는 등 국외에서 활발히 활동하는 동시에, 국내에서도 예술의전당, 세종문화회관, 금호아트홀과 국립극장, 일신홀 등에서의 연주는 물론, 가평, 성남, 전주 등지의 소공연장과 갤러리 등 다양한 무대에서 끊임없이 관객을 만나왔다. 한 편 바이올리니스트와 성악가로 활동하는 자매들인 이경하, 이경민과도 미국과 한국을 오가며 꾸준한 앙상블 활동을 이어가고 있다. 브람스 전곡 연주시리즈와 리스트 탄생 200주년 기념 독주회는 KBS FM에 방송되었고, 분당 FM 방송에는 1년간 고정 출연하였으며, 예원콩쿨, 수리콩쿨, 성정콩쿨, 음악교육신문사콩쿨, Tone x Galaxie Y 국제콩쿨, 김해 국제 음악제 아카데미, DMZ국제 음악제 아카데미, 프랑스 오를레앙 뮤직 아카데미, 엑상 프로방스 뮤직 아카데미, 가와이 피아노 페스티벌, 스타인웨이 매스터클래스 등 다수의 권위 있는 콩쿨 및 음악 캠프의 심사위원, 초빙교수로 초청받고 한양대 강의 교수, 동덕여대 겸임교수, 중국 대동대 객원교수를 역임하며 교육에도 열정을 쏟아 왔다. 


현재 성신여대 겸임교수로 재직하며 하나를 위한 음악재단, 수림 문화재단에서 일하고 있다.

Pianist Eun-Jung Lee was awarded 2nd prize and the Brahms Special Prize at the IBLA Grand Prize International Competition. She has also won 1st place at the Korea Times Competition and received numerous other accolades at prestigious competitions such as the Brahms Competition, Chun-Chu Competition, Teenager Competition, and the JM Concert Audition. Upon graduating from Yewon School, she received the District Mayor's Award and was selected as the valedictorian in performance. At Seoul Arts High School, she was honored with the Music Achievement Award. She later enrolled at Seoul National University, before continuing her studies in Germany at the Berlin University of the Arts (UDK) and Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts.


She studied under distinguished teachers including Suk-Hyun Cho, Woon-Kyung Kang, Gye-Sook Suh, Mi-Joo Lee, Martin Hughes, and Robert Benz. Additionally, she received guidance through masterclasses and camps from world-renowned artists such as Hae-Sun Paik, Soo-Jung Shin, Hwa-Kyung Byun, Jung-Ja Kim, Georgy Sebok, Edward Auer, Veda Kaplinsky, Klaus Schilde, Boaz Sharon, Patrik O’Byrne, Wolfgang Manz, Theodor Paraskivesco, Rainer Becker, Pascal Devoyon, Nelson Goerner, Vera Gornostaeva, and Vitaly Margulis.


She was selected to perform with the orchestra at the Seoul Arts High School annual concert at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall, and has also performed as a soloist with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra. Her solo recitals include invitations from the "Great Pianists of the Future" series by Eumyeon, and the opening concert of the Seongnam Arts Center. She has given numerous solo and chamber music performances in cities such as Berlin, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Darmstadt, Ludwigshafen, Paris, Orléans, Boston, New York, Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Shenyang, Taiyuan, Datong, Harbin, Guangzhou, Wuxi, and Yangzhou.


She has been invited multiple times to give masterclasses and concerts at Tianjin Conservatory, Shenyang Conservatory, and Sichuan Conservatory. She has also performed solo and chamber music at the Beijing International Music Festival for several years. In Korea, she has performed extensively at major venues such as the Seoul Arts Center, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, Kumho Art Hall, National Theater of Korea, and Ilshin Hall, as well as in smaller performance halls and galleries in Gapyeong, Seongnam, and Jeonju.


She continues a longstanding ensemble collaboration with her sisters, violinist Kyung-Ha Lee and vocalist Kyung-Min Lee, both in the United States and Korea. Her complete Brahms series and recital commemorating the 200th anniversary of Liszt's birth were broadcast on KBS FM, and she was a regular guest for one year on Bundang FM.


Eun-Jung Lee has served as a juror and guest professor at numerous prestigious competitions and music festivals, including the Yewon Competition, Suri Competition, Sungjung Competition, Music Education News Competition, Tone x Galaxie Y International Competition, Gimhae International Music Festival Academy, DMZ International Music Festival Academy, Orléans Music Academy (France), Aix-en-Provence Music Academy, Kawai Piano Festival, and the Steinway Masterclass. She has taught at Hanyang University as a lecturer, served as an adjunct professor at Dongduk Women’s University, and held a guest professorship at Datong University in China, demonstrating her commitment to education. She is currently an adjunct professor at Sungshin Women's University and is actively involved with the Hana for One Music Foundation and the Surim Cultural Foundation.
