섬세한 음악적 감각이 돋보이는 바이올리니스트 김회진은 선화예고, 가천대학교 음악대학(구 경원대), 한국예술종합학교 음악원(석사)을 졸업하였으며, 오스트리아 케른트너 주립대학을 최우수 졸업하였다.

예고 시절부터 여러 콩쿨에 입상하며 두각을 나타낸 그녀는 예술의전당이 주최한 대학교향악축제에서 가천대 오케스트라(구 경원대)와의 협연, 서울 심포니 오케스트라 협연 무대를 비롯한 다수의 연주활동을 통해 일찍이 신예로 주목을 받았다. 대학 졸업 후 코리안 심포니 오케스트라 단원, 로얄 심포니 오케스트라 객원 악장, 아시안 필하모닉 오케스트라 단원, 코리안 심포니 오케스트라 제1바이올린 부수석 등 개인 연주뿐 아니라 앙상블의 역량을 다진 그녀는 케른트너 주립대학 재학 시 챔버 오케스트라의 협연자로서 순회공연에 참여하였으며 케른트너 오페라극장 솔로 바이올리니스트, 케른트너 주립대학 오케스트라 악장, 슬로베니아주 International Music Festival의 조교를 역임하며 슬로베니아주 대사관의 초청연주회를 가졌고, Wien Meister Kurs 우수 연주자 연주회, 오스트리아 Wien Musik Verein 독주회를 개최해 큰 호평을 자아내었다.

세계적인 연주자인 I. Ozim, E. Zienkowski와 G. Schulz(Albanberg Quartet)의 마스터클래스에 참여하여 다양하고 폭넓은 음악해석과 기교를 연마하였으며, Imst Culture Summer Festival과 상파울 International Summer Music Festival의 우수연주자로 출연해 그 기량을 인정받았다. 귀국 후 예술의전당에서 귀국독주회를 시작으로 영산아트홀 초청독주회, 부산 국제현대음악제, 명지 국제음악제, 대한민국 실내악 작곡제전 등에 초청되었으며 코리안 심포니 오케스트라, 포항시향, 밀레니엄 심포니 오케스트라, 리히트캄머 앙상블, 브레미아 쳄버 소사이어티, 경기바로크 쳄버, 강원랜드 신년음악회 협연 등 수차례의 초청협연과 연주회를 펼친 바 있다.

또한 작곡가 E. Ewazen의 국내 초연 ‘트럼펫, 바이올린, 피아노를 위한 삼중주’를 선보였으며, 음악과 연극을 결합시킨 종합예술인 스트라빈스키의 ‘병사 이야기’를 연주하여 관객들에게 특별한 형식의 신선함으로 음악에 대한 새로운 지평을 열었다. 이태리 우디네 뮤직 페스티벌 파이널 콘서트를 비롯하여 예술의전당 콘서트홀, IBK챔버홀, 리사이틀홀, 세종문화회관 대극장, 금호아트홀, 대전예술의전당 등 다수의 홀에서 연주를 통해 악장으로서의 리더쉽을 발휘했을 뿐만 아니라 솔리스트로서의 꾸준한 연주활동에 정진하고 있다.

음악을 통한 후학 양성에도 힘쓰고 있는 그녀는 학교를 빛낸 자랑스러운 가천인상을 수상하였으며 가천대(구 경원대) 겸임교수, 한국예술종합학교, 중앙대 예술대학원, 협성대, 전남대, 국방부 군악대 강사를 역임하고 현재 가천대(구 경원대), 추계예대, 숭실대, 가천대 영재교육원, 선화예중•고, 계원예중•고, 경기예고, 덕원예고, 고양예고에 출강하고 있으며 (사)밀레니엄 심포니 오케스트라 악장, 앙상블 S, 코리아나 챔버 뮤직 소사이어티 멤버 등 전문연주자로서 활발한 행보를 이어가고 있다. 

Violinist Kim Hoejin, recognized for her refined musical sensitivity and expressive artistry, graduated from Sunhwa Arts High School, the College of Music at Gachon University (formerly Kyungwon University), and earned her Master’s degree from the Korea National University of Arts. She later graduated with highest honors from the Carinthian State Conservatory in Austria.

From an early age, she distinguished herself through numerous competition awards and gained recognition as a promising young artist through performances including a concerto appearance with the Gachon University Orchestra at the University Orchestra Festival presented by the Seoul Arts Center, as well as collaborations with the Seoul Symphony Orchestra. Following her graduation, she expanded both her solo and ensemble career as a member of the Korean Symphony Orchestra, guest concertmaster of the Royal Symphony Orchestra, member of the Asian Philharmonic Orchestra, and Associate Principal of the First Violin Section of the Korean Symphony Orchestra. 

During her studies in Austria, she toured as a soloist with the Conservatory Chamber Orchestra, served as solo violinist of the Carinthian Opera Theater and concertmaster of the Conservatory Orchestra, and worked as an assistant at the International Music Festival in Slovenia. She was also invited to perform by the Embassy of Slovenia and received critical acclaim for her appearances at the Wien Meister Kurs Outstanding Performers Concert and her solo recital at the Vienna Musikverein.

She further refined her artistry through masterclasses with internationally renowned musicians including Igor Ozim, Evgenia Zienkowski, and Günter Schulz of the Alban Berg Quartet. She was also recognized as an outstanding performer at both the Imst Culture Summer Festival and the São Paulo International Summer Music Festival. 

Since returning to Korea, she has maintained an active performance career beginning with her return recital at the Seoul Arts Center, followed by invited recitals at Youngsan Art Hall and appearances at the Busan International Contemporary Music Festival, Myeongji International Music Festival, and the Korea Chamber Music Composition Festival. She has appeared as soloist and guest artist with ensembles including the Korean Symphony Orchestra, Pohang Symphony Orchestra, Millennium Symphony Orchestra, Lichtkammer Ensemble, Bremia Chamber Society, Gyeonggi Baroque Chamber Ensemble, and the Kangwon Land New Year Concert.

She also presented the Korean premiere of Eric Ewazen’s Trio for Trumpet, Violin and Piano and performed Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du soldat, a multidisciplinary work combining music and theater, presenting audiences with a distinctive and innovative artistic experience. She has performed at numerous major venues including the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall, IBK Chamber Hall, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, Kumho Art Hall, and Daejeon Arts Center, demonstrating outstanding leadership as concertmaster while continuing her active career as a soloist. 

Dedicated to fostering the next generation of musicians, she received the Distinguished Gachon Alumni Award and has served as adjunct professor at Gachon University, as well as faculty member at the Korea National University of Arts, Chung-Ang University Graduate School of Arts, Hyupsung University, Chonnam National University, and the Ministry of National Defense Military Band. She currently teaches at Gachon University, Chugye University for the Arts, Soongsil University, the Gachon Gifted Education Institute, Sunhwa Arts Middle and High School, Kaywon Arts Middle and High School, Gyeonggi Arts High School, Deokwon Arts High School, and Goyang Arts High School.

In addition, she continues her distinguished career as concertmaster of the Millennium Symphony Orchestra and as a member of Ensemble S and the Koreana Chamber Music Society.
